A private weekend for adults who survived severe alcohol addiction and have built something since. The inaugural Founders Retreat brings together a small, carefully chosen group of peers to learn, reflect, and form connections meant to last.
The Cohort
By invitation only. A curated cohort of no more than twelve adult men and women, each selected individually, with one thing in common: survival from severe alcohol addiction, and at least eighteen months of continuous sobriety. Applications and attendance are kept confidential.
The Setting
A private lakefront estate on Geneva Lake, an easy drive from Chicago O'Hare. Your own room, a private pier and lawn on the water, morning walks along the historic Shore Path, and a bonfire by the lake on Saturday night.
The Weekend
Three intentional days of education, motivation, mindfulness, and wellness, built around what you survived and what you are building now. Fellowship with peers creating businesses, platforms, and careers of their own, and the start of connections meant to last.
The Table
A professional chef prepares every meal of the weekend: nourishing, organic, fine-dining cuisine built on seasonal Midwestern ingredients. Friday dinner through Sunday lunch, all included.
Your Host
Brian Latimer is the founder of Steadfast, an entrepreneur, a coach, and a father. He leads every session of the Founders Retreat himself, and he built it on one conviction: the people who have survived the hardest things are the ones best equipped to help each other build what comes next.
Tuition & Application
Tuition is $2,750, all-inclusive from Chicago O'Hare. A limited number of scholarships are available, each reviewed individually. The application takes less than twenty minutes, and seats are offered in order of acceptance.
